There is nothing better in the spring than fresh flowers to brighten up a space. It may be a nice addition to an open house, or just something special for you, but flowers certainly enhance our moods and our lives. Here are our favourite Vancouver florists to help brighten up your day.

1. Thomas Hobbs in Kerrisdale – Buying flowers from Thomas Hobbs is an experience in itself. Located in a beautiful heritage building in Kerrisdale, the shop itself is timeless. With over 40 years of experience, this team really knows their flowers.

2. The Flower Factory on Main Street – The original “indie” flower shop. These ladies have been around for a long time but they were one of the first shops in Vancouver to think outside the box. Their bouquets are gorgeous and creative and the shop’s atmosphere is as hip as it gets.

5. The Vancouver Farmers Market – At this time of year you can get outside and buy flowers right from the grower! There are markets all over the city, including the Trout Lake market, the West End market and the Kitsilano market. Tulip and peonies by the bunch for spring are enough to make our day just a little sunnier. Make sure to check the website for times and locations.
