Wicker and rattan seating has made a comeback over the last few years and in the heat of the summer there is no better patio staple. In fact we are seeing wicker everywhere, not just outdoors. We love how sleek and modern new wicker furniture styles have become and how just the right touch can soften a modern interior. The Space Harmony team recently used some amazing rattan chairs in a restaurant project with major success. We love the idea of adding some wicker to your like so here are some of our favourite looks and where to find them!

1. The Simple Arm Chair

These subtle wicker chairs are simple but have major impact. They are perfect for a bedroom or a cozy corner in a living space.

2. A Modern Patio Chair

This outdoor chair is a modern take on wicker using a more sturdy material. It is comfy and large enough to curl up with a book. We like that it isn’t too contemporary and could be used in many different spaces.

3. The Classic & The Updated

Ikea does two wicker chairs that we like. Either could work into an eclectic design but the one on the left is certainly a more traditional choice while the one on the right is a bit more boho.

4. A Mid Century Icon

The classic Acapulco chair by Innit is another faux rattan patio staple. This modern chair can be indoor or outdoor and is made with strong vinyl cord to make sure it stands up to the elements. It also comes in selection of colours and finishes.
