Modern Farmhouse Design in West Vancouver

The homeowners hired Space Harmony to re-invent their newly purchased house in West Vancouver! They liked a home that was unique with a fresh, and functional design suitable for big gatherings and entraining. After a few meetings and some “client discovery”, we arrived at the Modern Farmhouse design concept.

We started the process by changing the layout from what used to be a typical home 40 years ago, to what is needed for today’s busy lifestyle. Then we selected a diverse mix of finishes and fixtures that are visually intriguing yet low maintenance. By adding some delicate accents and elegant details we ensure that the “farmhouse meets modern glamour” while it keeps staying timeless. The house is beautiful yet low maintenance so it’s a perfect fit for a young growing family.
