When our clients entrusted us with reimagining their downtown residence, we embarked on a journey to create not just a living space, but a personal sanctuary that would both energize and soothe. This compact urban dwelling called for a design approach that would transcend conventional condo aesthetics—something that would speak to our clients’ cosmopolitan lifestyle while honouring their deep connection to the water.

The design narrative unfolds through a carefully orchestrated dialogue between design precision and organic warmth. We curated a palette inspired by the liminal space where cityscape meets shoreline—where cool grays and crisp whites provide a serene canvas for moments of deep maritime blue. These blue elements emerge throughout the home like gentle waves, sometimes bold and dramatic as in the geometric bathroom wallcovering or pinstripes grasscloth of the seating area, sometimes subtle and nuanced as in the art on the wall.

What makes this project unique is the integration of stylish storage in different forms and capcity from seating area in the living room to the headboard wall in the bedroom. The whitewashed timber elements bring the weathered character of driftwood into the contemporary setting, creating moments of visual poetry. In the bedroom, the commanding teal upholstered headboard rises like a gentle tide, creating an embracing backdrop for rest and rejuvenation. The bathroom’s geometric blue pattern introduces design rhythm while evoking the mesmerizing play of light on water. Each element tells a part of our clients’ story—their appreciation for clean lines and contemporary design harmonized with their soul-deep connection to the coastal environment.
