Small Space, Big Style Design

We approached this Yaletown condo as a canvas where every square inch presented an opportunity for refined expression. Working within the constraints of the existing floorplan, we reimagined the space through a harmonious blend of luxurious materials and thoughtful details. The marble-inspired surfaces in the bathroom and kitchen create a sophisticated backdrop, while the warm wood cabinetry introduces an organic element that softens the overall aesthetic. We believe small spaces deserve the same meticulous attention as grand residences—perhaps even more so—as every design decision carries greater impact.

Our vision for this home centered on creating distinct character for each area while maintaining a cohesive narrative throughout. In the master bathroom, we designed a sleek vanity with ample storage and a unique boxed mirror niche, illuminated by vertical sconces that enhance the sense of height. The bedroom tells a different yet complementary story, where we selected a delicate butterfly motif wallpaper that brings a sense of whimsy and movement. The living space showcases our philosophy of balance—clean architectural lines juxtaposed with statement lighting and carefully curated artwork. These elements don’t compete but rather converse with one another, creating moments of discovery as one moves through the home.

The success of this project lies in our deliberate layering of textures, materials, and thoughtful details that elevate the space beyond its physical boundaries. We employed a restrained palette of soft creams, gentle blues, and warm woods, punctuated by brass accents that add subtle luxury. The built-in window seat creates a connection to the outdoors while maximizing functionality in the compact living area. This project embodies our belief that sophisticated design isn’t about grandeur but about intention—every decision from the custom cabinetry hardware to the artistic crystal chandelier was made with purpose. The result is a home that feels both timeless and distinctly personal, proving that limited square footage need never limit extraordinary living.
